MBA

For reception of telemetry signals transmitted from an inter Service 24-channel Telemetry Sender fitted in a Seaslug missile and the recording of the sub-carrier waveform on magnetic tape for post flight analysis in Outfit MBN. A 24 - channel test signal and monitoring facilities are also provided for system checking.

MBN

For analysis of the telemetry signals received from an inter-service 24 channel Telemetry Sender fitted in a Seaslug missile. The equipment is fitted ashore and converts the magntic tape record obtained by the ship into a paper chart record which can be used for analysing missile performance.

FSA & FSC

Battery Charging equipment for Frequency Standard Outfits FSA and FSC. The cabinet - Electrical equipent has two separate mains suppliesl one for the anti-condensation heaters and the othr for the two battery chargers. Mains availability is indicated by two neon lamps on the top of the cabinet. Facilities for a remote alar circuit in parallel to each charger-battery is incorporated.

DIGITAL CODER 2

The coder converts a mechanical shaft angular position input to an electrical (digital) output. The unit provides eight output tracks in binary form. Two tracks are incremental sine and cosine, four are linear giving counts from 4 to 4096 per revolution and two provide north-south and east-west markers.

SYNCHRONOUS CLOCK SYSTEM MK2

The clock system allows Greenwich Mean Time and/or Zone time to be displayed throughout a ship or submarine by means of normal dialo clock displayes and digital displays. These clocks are slaves to a master control unit fro which all time adjustments and corrections are made. The system is capable of supplying up to 35 dial clocks and 70 digital clocks.
